A good day

Yesterday the little patch of blue in the sky grew and grew. It grew so wide the clouds were pressed to the horizon.

I did some art but also decided to spend a little time outside to make the most of the sun. I whizzed up the most delicious smoothie (Greek yoghurt, banana, kiwifruit and apple juice) and sat out at my picnic table amongst the trees and rambling weeds, my own little jungle.

Later I made some teepees in preparation for peas I will plant.

A good day.

  2. Mmm...looks delicious! :)

I had those bad wedding dreams quite a few times before mine...where things would go terribly wrong somehow, or i'd forget to pick up my dress, or we'd have no decorations. But when the day came....everything went just perfectly. and I'm sure the same will be true for you :)

  3. Don't those teepees look smart. I need to make some for my climbing beans! And jack up some more string for my sweet peas. Have a happy day!

  5. Hi Veronica! Thank you so much for your visit and the very sweet comment you left on my blog. As soon as I clicked onto your blog, I felt such a wonderful calmness. I loved reading your gentle words and your photographs are so lovely!
How funny...it's all about spring in your neck of the woods, and it's very much fall over here! Hugs, Paulette ;)

  6. Veronica, you're such a peach for reading all those posts! Thank you so much for visiting bigBANG, you dear fellow-gardener! Your garden looks just magical and the tepees are darling and quite practical- I've got a few supporting my overgrown tomatoes at the moment. And if I can find some decent kiwis I'm going to try that smoothie.

Looking forward to vicariously following your spring as autumn envelops us here in the Mojave Desert.

    Cheers and love! xo

  8. Yummy! Love smoothies! I wish spring was here on this side of the planet. We are being plunged into dark gray days for now. Yet,as much as I look forward to spring, the fall is a good time for inner reflection and quietude. And I am grateful. Enjoy the sunshine.

  9. Those teepees look great - I love the rustic look of wood and twine. Now we just need to do something about this weather so things will actually continue to grow...
