The thing with spring is that it lingers. On and on. It promises so much and then it makes you wait.
I am ready for summer. I'm longing for sunshine that carries on day after day. This relentless teasing is testing my patience, it really is. One days sunshine for two days grey.
I am trying to hold yesterday's sunshine in my mind.
Towards the end of the long, long path leading to the house a tree has erupted into bloom. Its laden branches stretch over the walkway. As I leave or return home, I walk gazing upwards through the clouds of pink feathery candyfloss. Beautiful.

Love these pictures Veronica! These are so soft and feathery. And you are right, I have a tree problem! Just this afternoon on my way home I saw a beautiful stand of trees and thought ooh I must photograph them. In fact I already photographed them about a week or two ago, but since then they look even better. I think a twelve step program might be required! Sweet of you to add the link x
ReplyDeleteI didnt mean to imply you had a problem ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat amazing, gorgeous photos!! I love Spring, too, but Autumn is my all time favourite season. We are just creeping into it here.

ReplyDeleteI know you weren't implying I had a problem, bless you. I just sometimes wish I had a wider range of inspiring things I liked to photograph as I feel a little sorry for the poor people who read my blog having to look at so many trees and leaves!
ReplyDeleteOne can never have enough of cherry blossoms. These are divine.
